Come celebrate the end of our third year with us!

In 2018 we've expanded our regular choir to two nights, started an a cappella ensemble, performed at White Night, Melbourne Central, for an ex-prime minister and been on the radio! We've sung songs by Laura Jean, Courtney Barnett, Kira Puru, Gordi, Lorde and Janelles Monae and sung with Jen Cloher.

Hear these songs and more at a glorious Sunday afternoon show of mass singing at the Collingwood Town Hall.

Lead by Sophia Exiner (Phia) and Joshua Teicher (Josh The Cat), MIV seeks to highlight the work of contemporary songwriters, particularly Australian acts, in a community singing environment. Now with over 140 regular members from across Melbourne, this end of year concert showcases Phia’s unique and diverse arrangements.

All proceeds will be donated to the following organisations we are proud to support: Foundation House, The Lighthouse Foundation, Koorie Tiddas Youth Choir, Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Women’s Health in the North and Free to Feed via the Inner North Foundation

We are excited to be performing for you at Collingwood Town Hall, and wish to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land we gather on, the Wurundjeri tribe of the Kulin Nation, and pay respects to their elders past, present and emerging.

Collingwood Town Hall is wheelchair accessible, in close proximity to Collingwood train station and with some street parking available.

This event is sponsored by the City of Yarra.
