We are a contemporary choir with a focus on indie music. We're term-based, with terms generally running between 8 – 10 weeks (roughly following the school year). There are 400 lovely people who make up this bunch. We split into 2 groups to rehearse, but we come together to sing with some of Australia’s best artists for special events. 

We rehearse in an incredible space right in the centre of Coburg, and our members get to sing with some of Australia's best artists like Sarah Blasko, Meg Washington and Jen Cloher.

In lockdown we got comfy online. It was a great opportunity to connect with artists like Merpire, Stella Donnelly and Angie McMahon. Now that we’re out of lockdown, we’re back to rehearsing at our amazing home in Coburg. If you can’t make it to rehearsal, don’t fret - we will continue to livestream.

Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8.30pm. You can pick which ever evening suits you best, but we do ask that you attend the same night each week. Our terms mostly follow the Victorian school term calendar.

We have a beautiful rehearsal space in Coburg that’s very close to public transport (we share the exact location once you become a member). We also live-stream all choir rehearsals in a private Facebook group for our interstate and international members, and any city slickers who can’t make it to rehearsal IRL.

Nah. We know everyone can sing, so we don’t audition.

Our term fees are $265 (incl GST).

Access to all rehearsals, special member-only events, our private Facebook community, member resources, a weekly newsletter and the opportunity to be part of any performances, recordings and videos we do throughout the year. You’ll also get priority preference for re-enrolment the following term.

If you join the waitlist after term has already started, you will typically be able to nab a spot the following term. Our current members get first dibs, and then we offer any remaining spots to the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.

We pour our little heart and soul into compositions for choir - it’s not a decision taken lightly, nor is it the sort of thing that can be thrown together willy-nilly. With that in mind, all final song decisions rest with us. However, we do search far and wide for our next hit of inspiration!
